ITU Ventures Holochip Launches Its First Product

Another ITU Ventures portfolio company reaches an important milestone.

Today, Holochip, a manufacturer of affordable, durable, and high-quality variable-focus lenses for the photonics market, unveiled its first product during the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) and the Quantum Electronics and Laser Science Conference (QELS) Technical Expositions held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Holochip announced the launch of its Adaptive Polymer Lense (APL) HCX-1050 beta product, an adaptive singlet lens for optical research and engineering amidst the perfect backdrop of this preeminent industry event.

Jonah Schnel, Managing Partner for ITU Ventures, congratulated company founder and CEO Dr. Batchko and his team at Holochip for reaching this important milestone. The successful product launch is another vindication of the effectiveness of ITU Ventures' strategy of leveraging technology research and augmenting it with additional intellectual property licensed from various universities to fasttrack the commercialization of promising technologies.
